John Ziegler

John is the owner of the ThiccBoi Chicago / Midwest franchise, serving athletes and gyms across Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania. He joined the ThiccBoi family as a franchise owner in January 2026, drawn to a brand that shows up where people actually train. John also serves as ThiccBoi's Chief Revenue Officer and led the build of the new ThiccBoi website — a project shaped by his belief that the brand should be as easy to reach online as it is in person. That instinct comes from experience. John is a former CrossFit affiliate owner and coach who spent years building a gym community from the ground up, and he still trains and coaches as an athlete with The Strength Agenda. He knows what it takes to keep a gym family fed, motivated, and coming back. Outside of ThiccBoi, John builds apps in his spare time with a simple goal: make everyday life a little better for the people using them. He and his wife share their home with three dogs, and you'll usually find him at events and pop-ups across the region — because supporting local communities is the part of this work he loves most.
