Hi friends! My name is Kelly Wild, I’m a Physical Therapist from St. Paul Minnesota. I am a former Division I ice hockey player and US National team Olympic Weightlifter, as well as a 3x CrossFit Games athlete. I have made it my life’s mission to support and encourage others to live a healthy lifestyle, and to help others find ways to be physically fit and functionally independent throughout their life!
I am headed to Africa in January, 2024 to volunteer for two weeks at a hospital in Tanzania. The hospital, FAME, does not have a single physical therapist on staff. They have invited me to educate their staff, patients and caregivers on the principles of physical therapy! I am so excited for this opportunity, however the hospital does not have the funding to monetarily support their volunteers. This trip will cost close to $11,000.
